Japan produced a decent display in a narrow 0-1 defeat to South American heavyweights Colombia. Samurai Blues were the better side on the pitch throughout 90 minutes of play and they certainly deserved more than a loss on the day. Hajime Moriyasu’s troops will have a chance to rebound on Tuesday when they play host to a much easier CONMEBOL opposition in the likes of Bolivia.

Samurai Blue are thus looking to return to winning ways after two straight losses (the 1-3 defeat to Qatar in the Asian Cup final). A result here would be of big importance confidence-wise for the hosts who will feature Copa America as a guest nation this summer.

Probable Lineups:

Japan: Higashiguchi, Muroya, Tomiyasu, Shoji, Sasaki, Doan, Shibasaki, Yamaguchi, Nakajima, Takumi, Suzuki.

Bolivia: Cordano, Torres, Jusino, Haquin, Bejarano, Arano, Castro, Galindo, Vaca, Alvarez, Chumacero.
